These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the BillRaja mobile application ("App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

BillRaja is a billing and invoicing platform designed for small businesses in India.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to use this App.
• You must be a legitimate business owner or authorized representative.
• You must have a valid Google account to sign in.
• By using the App, you represent that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.

2. Account & Authentication

• You sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Subscription Plans & Payments

BillRaja offers the following subscription tiers:

• Free: Basic features with limited invoices, customers, and products.
• Raja: Expanded limits with WhatsApp sharing, purchase orders, and data export.
• Maharaja: Advanced features including GST reports and e-way bill integration.
• King: Unlimited access to all features.

Payment Terms:

• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Razorpay.
• Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable GST.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time from the App settings.
• Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of the current billing period.
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable advance notice.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal or fraudulent purpose.
• Generate false, misleading, or fraudulent invoices.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the App.
• Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service.
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law.

5. Your Data & Content

• You retain full ownership of all business data, invoices, customer records, and content you create within the App.
• You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the App's services.
• You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your business information, GST details, invoices, and financial records.
• You are responsible for complying with all applicable tax laws and regulations, including GST filing requirements.
• BillRaja is a tool to assist with invoicing; it is NOT a substitute for professional accounting or legal advice.

6. GST & Tax Compliance

• BillRaja provides GST calculation and reporting features as a convenience tool.
• We do NOT guarantee the accuracy of GST calculations for your specific business scenario.
• You are solely responsible for verifying tax calculations, filing GST returns, and maintaining compliance with Indian tax authorities.
• BillRaja is not a registered tax consultant or chartered accountant service.
• We recommend consulting a qualified CA/tax professional for tax-related decisions.

7. Invoice Sharing

• When you share invoices via WhatsApp or SMS, you do so at your own discretion.
• We are not responsible for the delivery, receipt, or handling of invoices once shared through third-party platforms.
• You must ensure that you have proper consent to share business information with your customers through these channels.

8. Service Availability

• We strive to provide uninterrupted service but do not guarantee 100% uptime.
• The App includes offline functionality; however, some features require an internet connection.
• We may perform maintenance, updates, or upgrades that temporarily affect availability.
• We are not liable for any loss arising from service interruptions.

9. Intellectual Property

• The BillRaja name, logo, design, and all associated intellectual property are owned by us.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our written permission.
• All PDF invoice templates and UI designs are our proprietary property.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• BillRaja is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
• We are not liable for any financial loss, tax penalties, or legal consequences resulting from inaccurate invoices or GST calculations.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• We are not responsible for any loss of data due to device failure, network issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BillRaja, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the App.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Inaccurate business information, invoices, or tax filings you generate.
• Any dispute between you and your customers.

12. Termination

• You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
• Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
• Sections on Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law survive termination.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
• Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
• Before initiating legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you disagree with any changes, you must stop using the App.
